Players on the winning Main Auto Body team that won the inaugural Toronto Nisei Hockey League championship in the 1961-62 season included:

Front Row, left to right, Tom Takemura, Dave Ono, Gen Hamada, John Tohana, Herb Ashizawa, John Hamada.
Absent were Dave Uchikata and Sho Mori.

    Thank you to all the organizers and sponsors for a wonderful evening. Mel, you did a terrific job of keeping the festivities on a roll and presenting us with some great perspectives on the history and importance of the league. I know how much hard work and planning went in to making this evening a successful one and it was great to see so many families in attendance and having such an enjoyable time.
